We strive to support people in the community who have been marginalized and who are experiencing hardships and challenges in their lives. For the former 74 years, Centacare has worked to help people arrive their stuffed potential so they can participate in the community, regardless of their circumstances. We respond with skill, compassion and tenacity to each of the 30,00 people we see annually through our disability, homelessness, domestic violence, family outreach and relationships, youth, community support, training and intervention services. At Centacare, we trust for justice to be upheld, we must become compassionate voices in action for all. At Centacare, we trust that everyone has the correct to be treated with respect and dignity. As the official community service agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide, we deliver responsive, supple and effective services to the South Australian community without regard to religion, race, culture or economic circumstance. We offer programs in a range of sectors, including disability, family, youth and children, health and well being, employment, education and training, homelessness and domestic violence. We have services located in Adelaide metropolitan, suburban and regional areas. The QC standards and accreditation program is a comprehensive and aspirational set of standards that go across health and human services from very large to very trivial organizations. It covers both good governance and corporate systems to ensure mighty and sustainable organizations. QC standards also importantly address systems for the safe delivery of quality services, definite client pathways, monitoring of outcomes, client rights, advocacy and complaints management, as well as recognizing the pivotal role of stakeholder and consumer engagement and sector and regional partnerships. These standards are based on a mighty systems approach and reflect the underpinning principles of the community and health sectors. They are written in outcome form, reflect continuous quality improvement principles and embody the values on which the QC Program is based. Services

counseling with Centacare is fair that our qualified counseling team is both professional and caring. The program offers counseling to children and their families and carers where children have been affected by sexual abuse. Active in collaboration with a range of local community support services and groups, the Family Connections Program is a mobile resource family encourage program working with vulnerable and disadvantaged families with children 012 years in Mount gabbier, Millicent, Penola and the Wattle Range Council area. This program offers supported accommodation to young families up to the age of 25 years, who are pregnant or parenting and are homeless or are at risk of homelessness but who have low need promote requirements. Urge is provided on an oneonone basis and families are connected with local community services as required. Services include assistance to keep women and children safe in their own homes, supported accommodation in a range of housing options, safety planning, referral, advocacy and individualized case management to urge and enhance women’s choices. Kid protection is also available and classes cost 2 per session. Working alongside an existing worker, we can provide a specialist short intervention provided to clients who have complicated co occurring mental health and Alcohol Other Drug (AD) issues. It is an hasty intervention, outreach program, which delivers community based mental health services to individuals and their families. Our counselors are healthy trained to assist couples, individuals and families experiencing relationship difficulties in a range of ways. Centacare offers family relationship counseling to help individuals, families and communities living in the drought affected local government areas of the Coorong, Alexandria and Onkaparinga. Drug and Alcohol Services assists families to deal with addiction in a loved one’s life. Innovative Community Action Networks (Scan) provides holistic case management, identifying young people’s barriers and strengths, advocacy and encourage in accessing services within Centacare and in the broader community, maintain young people in education and connection to school. The Reconnect Mental Health Service is an outreach, early intervention service, supporting young people aged 12 to 18 years and their families, where there is a risk of homelessness and emerging mental health concerns for the young person. Our Learning cents yield young women with healthy being promote and learning opportunities, tailored to their needs and apropos to their imperative role as young parents. Centacare is occupied creatively on the fore line to keep young people, families and women and children safe. This urge includes outreach, training and early intervention services where there is a risk of drug use, suicide and self harm.
